弗里茨 began her academic career at Georgia College and State University in 1995 as an adjunct clinical faculty member. Since 2010 she has served in the role of nursing programs chair at Macon State College. 弗里茨 also worked as a cardiovascular clinical nurse specialist at The Medical Center of Central Georgia and HCA Coliseum Medical Centers.
